The objectives of the Association are to promote the profession of Market Research; to report on matters of general interest to Market Research Practitioners; to make representations on behalf of the industry to relevant authorities; to advance and safeguard the interests of the industry and to procure and maintain high professional standards.
Members of AIMRO include Amarach Research, Behaviour & Attitudes, Ipsos-MRBI, Kantar Worldpanel, Mercator Market Research, Millward Brown Lansdowne, Outsourced Insight, Quota Search, RED C and The Nielsen Company. Collectively, these companies account for an estimated 85% of the total spend on market research in Ireland.
All AIMRO members subscribe to a rigorous code of conduct in respect of fieldwork standards and in specific respect of opinion polling. They are all acknowledged to have senior executives who are up to date with best practice in market research around the world. All companies which are part of AIMRO also undertake to be fully compliant with taxation law in every respect - including interviewer fees and expenses payments, VAT and all other tax-related matters.
